Middle Tennessee Humanists is proud to announce that the American Humanist Association executive director, Fish Stark, is coming to Nashville. Fish is a former stand up comedian and it shows in his entertaining and inspirational speaking style. However, behind his engaging command of an audience, Fish is a fierce proponent of human rights. Fish will offer an insight into how the progress of our country has been shaped by the contributions of renowned humanists, the challenges we are facing in the current political climate, and how new initiatives of the AHA are rallying to to defend human rights for all. Middle Tennessee Humanists would like to thank “Secular Rising”, “Americans United for the Separation of Church and State”, and the “First Unitarian Universalist Church” for co-sponsoring this event.
