“The bird knows where it belongs, and will never fly to a wrong nest.” ― Michael Bassey Johnson

“Whenever domination is present, love is lacking. Loving parents, be they single or coupled, gay or straight, headed by females or males, are more likely to raise healthy, happy children with sound self-esteem.” ― bell hooks

Join Sunday Assembly Nashville on May 25 at East Park Community Center as we consider birds and parenting. Our speaker will be Megan Fox of the Nashville Zoo to talk about how birds nurture their offspring within the flock. For this month’s Help Often opportunity we are honoring both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. We will be collecting donations of diapers in all sizes for the Nashville Diaper Connection to help local families in need. Our all ages program begins at 5 p.m. Off street parking is plentiful and free. We enjoy a potluck dinner after Assembly.

Sunday Assembly is a celebration of the one life we know we have. We want Sunday Assembly Nashville to be a place of love and compassion where, no matter what your situation, you are welcomed, accepted, loved, and encouraged to live your best life.
