Calling all Star Wars fans! Pipeline-Collective (the theatre company that SAN members David Ian Lee and Karen Sternberg run) is producing a benefit on 12/11 at The Factory in Franklin. “A Very Special Live Staged Reading of The Star Wars Holiday Special: Live, On Stage… and SPECIAL!” is going to be a fun, satirical night at the theatre that will include a reading of the classic (and hilariously awful) holiday special mixed with holiday songs and a visit from members of the 501st Legion, which is a group of Stormtroopers who visit sick kids.
General admission tickets are only $15, and all proceeds will go to the 501st Legion Make-A-Wish Endowment Fund. Also, there’s free childcare offered at a nearby location! Doors open at 6:30, show starts at 7:30.
Brandon and I are going, and happy to save seats for people who can’t slide in until 7:25.
Find out more about the show, register for childcare, and buy tickets at www.pipeline-collective.com.
